Even as a young boy, Sepp Waldner felt completely at home with animals: he adored cows, pigs, sheeps, goats and, above all, horses. His childhood dream was that he would one day own a horse farm.
In 1990 he fulfilled this dream when he acquired the
Hirschhof Haflinger Stud on Lake Resia and two years later he introduced his first filly. With a great deal of dedication and expert knowledge, Sepp Waldner has created a strong Haflinger stud farm. A few of his stallions have won international prizes. Every week, guests can marvel at the stallions in the nearby
Haflinger stallion station at Baslan in Cermes in the company of Sepp Waldner himself.
