The Waldner Alm
Generations of Waldner children have spent the summer months in the stone-walled Senn-hut, built in 1906. Set in a clearing on the Marlinger Berg at 1,150 metres above sea level, the mountain meadow was extended and the inside of the inn modernized.
Our weekly hiking highlight and a really guaranteed enjoyable experience in the summer months is the popular walk to the Waldner Alm with Frau Marianne. As a reward for the strenuous walk, we pamper you with a typical Marende (Tyrolean light meal) with excellent ham and cheese, Vinschger Paarln (a local speciality bread) and wine. In September 2010, there was even a traditional Marende on the meadow for a wedding party.
