The Waldner Family

For more than 250 years the Waldner family has been a part of the traditions and success of the Romantik Hotel Oberwirt. Today four generations live and work together in harmony under one roof. Sepp Waldner – as hotelier, the “patron” of the establishment and dedicated “Oberwirt” or host – has made an equally big name for himself as an enthusiastic and visionary architect, a renowned breeder of Haflinger horses and rose grower and as a passionate wine producer. He is ably supported by his daughter Barbara.
The soul of the hotel is still our mother - “Mutti”! Grandmother Martha lavishes care and attention on our guests every day at breakfast.
