The idyllic little village of Marling
Our sunny village on the western slope of Merano offers all visitors its warm hospitality and numerous hiking routes, relaxation and a change from everyday life.
“The bells of Marling” is a tune by the world-famous composer Franz Liszt, who was audibly impressed by the enchanting sound of our church bells during his holiday in Marling. The bells made the same impact on an English guest who had a replica of our picturesque Maria Himmelfahrt parish church built in his home town of Selsey in the southwest of England. You will also have many fond memories of our little village, nestling between apple gardens and vineyards.
